We shall be holding our Christmas Tree Festival, in St Peter & St Paul Church, over Dickens Weekend, Saturday 5th December and Sunday 6th December 11am to 4pm (with booked visits from school/pre-schools/vulnerable groups on Friday 4th December.)
There is no cost for taking part or visiting – anyone can join in by providing a tree, decorated however you like, to advertise your company or good cause.
For the tree you can provide any size or type – real artificial or created, decorated to your taste and accompanied by promotional material for your group, A5 for preference.
The trees are placed around the Church; large ones free standing, smaller on boards across the pews and on the window ledges. Last time we had traditional fir trees, sparkly coloured ones, trees made from shoe boxes and knitting needles..
We have a programme of local choirs, dancers and musicians to entertain you which is rapidly filling up so it is set to be another sparkling year!
